Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Daxxify: Who Actually Has Shelf Space

Neurotoxin market share numbers get published every year, usually as a single national percentage from a survey or an earnings call. They are not wrong, but they are not useful to a rep deciding which door to knock on next. A rep needs to know which practices are actually advertising which brand, right now.

We pulled brand mentions across our census of 48,198 verified US aesthetic practices to see what shelf space actually looks like.

The mention counts

Brand Practices mentioning it
Botox 11,898
Dysport 4,296
Xeomin 1,964
Daxxify 1,436
Jeuveau 1,273

Botox's lead is not close. It appears in roughly two and a half times as many practice service menus as Dysport, its nearest competitor. That is the number every challenger brand's sales strategy has to be built around, not against.

What the gap actually means

11,898 practices advertising Botox does not mean 11,898 practices are exclusively loyal to it. Plenty of those practices also carry Dysport or Xeomin as a second or third option for patients who want to switch products or who respond better to a different formulation. Multi-brand practices are common in neurotoxins in a way they are not in capital equipment.

The more useful read is where each challenger brand is strong relative to its national footprint. Daxxify at 1,436 mentions and Jeuveau at 1,273 are close to each other nationally, but they are not competing for the same practices in every market. A rep working a territory where Daxxify already has a foothold is walking into a different conversation than a rep working blind.

Xeomin's quiet middle position

Xeomin's 1,964 mentions put it ahead of both Daxxify and Jeuveau, and it has been in the US market longer than either. That is worth noting for reps who assume the "newest" launch is automatically the fastest mover. Xeomin's adoption curve has been slower and steadier, not a spike.

What this means for a rep or manufacturer

If you sell a challenger neurotoxin, the practices worth prioritizing are not the ones with zero neurotoxin presence. They are the ones already advertising a competitor brand and showing other signals of willingness to add or switch: multiple device lines, high patient volume signals, active promotional cadence. A practice that has never touched neurotoxins at all is a much longer sales cycle than one already comfortable writing the category into its menu.

Knowing which 4,296 practices already carry Dysport, and which of the 11,898 Botox practices look ready to add a second brand, is the difference between a target list and a hope.
